~The Teardrop Family~
|
||||||||
| Father Beauregard Teardrop is always happy to help his neighbors. He helps them paint rooms, repair things, trim the grass, or just about anything else. His neighbors always repay his kindness with home-made bread, pies, or other goodies! | ![]() |
|||||||
| Mother Hyacinth Teardrop loves to work in her garden. She has planted so many tulips, poppies, roses, snap-dragons, petunias, geraniums and other flowers that her garden is ablaze with bright colors all spring and summer long! | ||||||||
| Brother Rudy Teardrop really likes his mother's garden too, but he likes it because it attacks all sorts of great bugs. He likes the big garden spiders and the praying mantises the best, but loves any kind of creepy crawly insect. | ||||||||
| Sister Ruby Teardrop isn't too keen on most insects, but loves butterflies. One of Ruby's favorite summer pastimes is to sit quietly in the garden and draw pictures of all the colorful butterflies and flowers that she sees. | ||||||||
| Baby Marjorie Teardrop seems to always be in tune with the weather. If it is sunny out, she is very happy. If it is raining, she gets grumpy and sad. But as soon as the sun comes out, she is happy again. | ||||||||
| Twins Basil and Bailey Teardrop are very close. They are rarely apart from each other, but when they are, they often cry and cry until they are reunited. | ||||||||
| Collector's Information | ||||||||
| Official Family Name: None Color/Animal: Dark Teardrop Bear Release Location: Japan When Available: Late 1980s-1997 |
Version Information: There are two versions of this family. 1) is lighter in color (more like a Timbertop bear), and the brother and sister have a solid body mold. There is a possibility that the baby for this first version is a single body mold baby, but I have not yet verified this. 2) The more common version is darker in color, and the kids have moving arms and legs. The babies of the second version are a baby with a jointed body and twin set. They second version can vary slightly in color, clothes, and height. Because of this, the second version could be separated into two or even threee versions. But I feel the differences are not enough to call them a separate version. | |||||||
