~The VanDyke Family~
	Father Ebb VanDyke lives with the rest of his family on the 'Rose of Sylvania'. They slowly travel up and down the river, having lots of adventures and meeting lots of interesting people. He is also keen on keeping the river neat and tidy.
	Mother Flo VanDyke runs the Sylvanian swimming classes as well as navigating the canal boat and looking after her busy family. All of her family swims very well, but Flo wants everyone in Sylvanian to be able to swim.
	Brother Brook VanDyke is always getting into trouble! Not because he's bad or naughty, it's just that he is so terribly inquisitive. Once he got his head stuck in a large storage jar because he wanted to see what was inside.
	Sister Spring VanDyke is the artist of the family. She is responsible for the lovely decorations on the Rose of Sylvania. Spring spends hours on the deck in the sunshine drawing new designs for everything from the buckets to the cabin doors.
	Baby Twins Eddy and Becky have their own baby language which they converse in all day long. No one knows just what they talk about, but what ever it is they can talk about it all day every day. Brook things they talk in this strange way because everyone always goes "coo coo" to them.

	Official Family Name: VanDyke Color/Animal: Otter Release Location: US, UK When Available: c.1995-c.2002	Version Information: There is only one version of this family, but it has been released in several different places at several different times- in the US, UK, and Asia. There are variations between these different releases- the mother's dress was dark blue in the first UK release, light blue in the second UK release, and turquoise in the US release. The sister's dress is pink instead of red in the Asia release.
