| Father Xavier Vineyard and his wife own the Sylvanian National Bank. Xavier is also an accountant, and spends most of his day balancing the accounts of his clients. He also is also Sylvania's treasurer, and keeps watch over the town's budget. |  |

| Mother Cecilia Vineyard works as a teller at the bank. She takes deposits and returns withdrawls to all the people in Sylvania who have an account at the bank. Because the money she handles is not hers, she is very careful not to lose any. | ||||||||
| Sister Shawna Vineyard isn't as careful with money as her mother. She is always losing her lunch money or allowance. But then her father suggested that she open an account at the bank, where she could save her money and know it is safe. | ||||||||
| Brother Joseph Vineyard never loses his money, but also never seems to have any. Each week when he receives his allowance, he is off to Rocky Babblebrook's store to buy sweets. | ||||||||
| Baby Sophie Vineyard is very good with numbers like her father. Even though she is only in kindergarten, she already knows her multiplication tables! | ||||||||
| Twins Dinah and Doug Vineyard each have a little bank that dings when you put a coin through the slot. Both babies love to drop pennies into their bank, and they clap and giggle when the bell dings. | ||||||||

Version Information: There are two versions of this family, the first with snap fasteners on the clothes and the second with velcro. The sister's dress changed from having ribbon trim to lace trim with the second version; brother's, mothe's and father's clothes did not change. Also when the second version was released, the baby changed from a single mold body to a jointed baby and the twin set was added to the family. All three babies were also released in Christmas clothes in Japan (the twin set also in the UK). The sitting twin has been released everywhere as Dinah Dog carry case. | |||||||
