Storing My Collection
I get quite a few questions about how I display and store my collection. Well, the only way my collection is displayed is in the Figure Gallery. All of my figures live in my closet. They live in five storage boxes (two of which are pictured), in groups of 4-6 figures in zip-lock plastic, separated by family or like figures. Although I agree that every figure in its own plastic and box is ideal, this group storage does seem to keep fur rubs to a minimum and is fine for me. I've just finished writing the first draft of a novel. Its going to be a while before the book will be ready for me to submit it to publishers (hopefully someone will publish it), but eventually I will get there. I will start working on writing the second draft late this summer and fall. Update-- second and third drafts are completed, I am now working on draft 4! January 2007 Update! I'm finished with draft 4, my book is now ready to send to publishers! So what is the book about? I can't tell you much about the story yet, but I can say it is a novel aimed at young adults between about 9-12 years of age, but should be enjoyable for adults to read as well. The book is a fantasy, something between Harry Potter, The Wizard of Oz, and The Lord of the Rings. I hope that one day I will be able to get my book published and I also hope you will want to read it! Wendy, This is Your Life
A bit about me: I was born and raised San Jose, California (USA) and moved to North Carolina a few years ago (after living in Washington DC for a few years). I graduated from UCLA with a BA in Economics and later earned my MBA at UNC. I currently work in marketing at a financial planning and investments firm. I have a cat named Boyo (he is very obnoxious, but I love him anyhow). I got my first Sylvanians for Christmas in 1987, the Waters Beaver family. I got my second family, the Slydale Foxes, a few days later for my birthday. Here are some of my favorite things: Interests- Science (especially earth sciences, like geology and meteorology), drawing, writing, reading, sewing, baking, hiking and biking My Zodiac sign- Capricorn I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about me!
